Location and Directions

The Lawrence Batley Theatre is located in the centre of Huddersfield on Queen Street, close to the new Kingsgate Shopping Centre.

Travel by car - from the
Ring Road, follow the brown
tourist signs for Theatre Parking or, for dropping off only, access
to Queen Street may be gained via King Street.

Car Parking - there is convenient car parking for the theatre at Alfred Street multi-storey car park in the town centre.
The car park has an AA Gold Award for security, is patrolled and
costs 50p after 6pm.

Travel by rail, bus or on foot - The theatre is clearly highlighted on several signposts throughout the town centre and is just 5 minutes walk from both the bus and railway station. We are just to the right of the main street entrance to the Kingsgate Shopping Centre.
