From his early days as resident pianist at the famous Ronnie
Scott’s Club and throughout his illustrious career, Stan has
played alongside many giants of jazz and, having become a
legend in his own lifetime, is himself now amongst that
select band of musicians. A world renown figure spanning
six decades and often referred to as the Godfather of British
Jazz, he has been highly influential and an inspiration to
succeeding generations. He is also a prolific composer and his
‘Under Milk Wood’ is widely recognised as a masterpiece.
Joining Stan’s regular trio is the award winning trumpeter
Guy Barker for a memorable evening of classic jazz.
