A jazz musician, composer, and educator performing worldwide, Martin
Speake is one of the UK’s most interesting saxophonists and a talented
improviser. On this occasion, he brings his latest band to Huddersfield
playing standard tunes but reinventing the forms with melodic and
rhythmic imagination as if they are their own original compositions.
