Saturday 7 March 2009
JOHN ETHERIDGE’S TRIO NORTH
John Etheridge - guitar
Ben Crosland – bass
Dave Tyas - drums
Described as “one of the best guitarists in the world”, John Etheridge rightly enjoys
a glowing reputation for his versatility covering a spectrum from classical to rock
and just about everything in between. Perhaps most well known for ”Soft Machine”
and “Sweet Chorus” and his recent collaborations with John Williams, he is a creative
player whether on acoustic or electric guitar and has played with many leading jazz
musicians from around the world. Supported by the regular members of his Northern
trio, both first class musicians, this should be a night to remember.
