A Huddersfield Jazz Special
CLARE TEAL
Clare Teal - vocalist
Jim Watson – Piano
Simon Little – Bass
Chris Dagley – Drums
Since her last visit to Huddersfield Jazz as an original and talented young
singer, Yorkshire born Clare has developed in every way into a major star
and she is now a successful singer, songwriter, and BBC Radio 2 personality.
Voted British Jazz Vocalist of the Year 2007 and blessed with a stunning voice,
the ability to write songs that promise to be classics, and a wonderful warm
humour, Clare is a rare commodity. Returning to the stage for some very
select dates to celebrate the release of her new album “Get Happy”, the tour
features brilliant musicians, sparkling new material, and inspired interpretations
of the great American songbook, plus a liberal sprinkling of her favourites.
Joyous music and hearty laughs – guaranteed to put a big smile on your face.
Not to be missed!

“Clare has a timeless sound to her voice and classic touch to her own songwriting.
Now how modern is that? Music to melt I’d say.
