Growing up in a house filled with music and named after Louis Armstrong by
her jazz-obsessed father, Louise has been enchanting audiences at venues and
festivals around the UK. Citing influences that include Sarah Vaughan and Billie
Holiday and a regular on Radio 2’s Best of Jazz, she is a skilful interpreter of
swing, blues, and gospel classics blending an effortless rhythmical style with
spirit and passion and a warm sweet tone. Appearing with the quartet is one of
Britain’s most gifted musicians, the versatile award winning saxophonist Alan
