Jon Taylor Quartet

Come join us as we continue our Autumn & Winter season with the fantastic Jon Taylor Quartet.

Biography:

Jon Taylor is the ultimate jazz entertainer: he plays saxophone, flute, accordion, harmonica and sings.  He also tells great stories.

Jon is an alumnus of the Leeds College of Music and a contemporary of Alan Barnes, Dave Newton and Snake Davis, and he has been one of the most popular figures on the northern jazz scene for over forty years.  He plays an engaging range of material encompassing classic standards, funk, blues, latin and chill-out grooves.  His mission statement is to keep the music interesting and stimulating and to create a little bit of joy.  He will do that in spades!  

This is jazz with a smile on its face!

Ticket Prices / Availability:

Tickets are priced at £14.00 per person (plus 0.35p booking fee).  Tickets can be purchased online via the Huddersfield Jazz website, or on the door on the date of the event.

Note: Payment on the door can now be made by card.

Tickets will be limited to the venue fire safety capacity.  Huddersfield Jazz & The Irish Centre reserve the right to refuse entry.

Start/Finish Times / Refreshments:

As per past events the gig will start at 2pm and finish at 4pm with a short mid session break.  Full bar facilities will be available on the day.

The Irish Cente is located on Fitzwilliam Street in Huddersfield - 86 Fitzwilliam St, Huddersfield HD1 5BB.

Car Parking:

Car parking is availabe on the street / in the car parks opposite the Irish Centre.
